Debbie Carlisle 'Adagio' Bridal Accessories Collection

There are also a few unusual pieces that I’ve designed to be worn in many different ways, allowing you to change your look from day to night or wear your headpiece in an alternative style after your wedding.

Below is one headpiece, Darcey, worn in four different ways.

My Hattie headpiece was used to absolutely stunning effect in this beautiful shoot in the July/August 2013 issue of Brides magazine.

Hattie is a glamorous statement crystal wedding headband which makes the perfect hair accessory for a simple, classic slim line bridal gown.

My former bride Kate Beaumont (pictured below wearing my Olivia comb and birdcage veil) made her own vintage-inspired wedding dress and has now set up her own business making gowns for other brides. Kate used my headpieces to help accessorise her dresses in a photo shoot for her new website. To check out her work (also pictured below) click here.

Recent Publicity

A pair of sparkling jewelled masquerade masks created by me for a spectacular royal charity ball have gone on display at London’s Selfridges store alongside designs by some of the best names in fashion design.

Organisers of the glittering Animal Ball invited me to join top design names including Cartier, Christian Lacroix, Christian Louboutin, Fabergé, Jasper Conran, Matthew Williamson, Missoni and Manolo Blahnik in creating a pair of masks to be worn by guests attending the £1,000-a-head fundraiser for endangered animals.

Debbie Joins Top Fashion Names For Royal Commission

Guests at the opulent animal-themed ball at Clarence House on July 9 will read like a Who’s Who of the London art, design, fashion, movie, music and literary world and will include HRH Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall as well as fashionistas Sophie Dahl and Cara and Poppy Delevingne and actresses Joanna Lumley and Goldie Hawn. Entertainment at the sumptuous masked ball will be provided by Jools Holland and a series of surprise guest singers.

Event organisers the Elephant Family asked me to create a bespoke pair of masks in my own style to reflect my interpretation of an endangered animal. I chose the extinction-threatened Marine Iguana, the world’s only sea-dwelling lizard, as the inspiration for my two masks which I created using hundreds of tiny silver glass beads.

A new collaboration with a online bridal accessories boutique has resulted in a brand new approach to the way I make crystal wedding bouquets for brides.

I’ve teamed up with Crystal Bridal Accessories to create two exclusive luxury brooch bouquet designs made from, and inspired by, new pieces of jewellery from the brand’s very own Signature and Italian Luxe collections.

A New Approach To Crystal Wedding Bouquets

The ordering process is really simple - you can just click to buy immediately from the Crystal Bridal Accessories website - unlike the process of ordering a bespoke design created specifically for you through my own website.

These new designs are my sparkliest creations yet as the new jewellery doesn’t have the aged look of the vintage jewellery I use for my bespoke vintage brooch bouquets. The two designs are perfect for brides who love vintage style but would prefer to have new crystal clear brooches in their bouquets.

The collaboration means that for the first time brides can buy the design they see online immediately – rather than wait for a bespoke piece to be made from vintage jewellery. It also means brides can order the exact design they see online and it allows brides to coordinate their brooch bouquet with matching jewellery from Crystal Bridal Accessories.
