A Modern Ethereal Bridal Accessories Shoot - Behind The Scenes

Hugely fun, physically draining, creatively fulfilling and utterly inspiring - today I'm lifting the veil on the process of shooting a modern ethereal bridal accessories collection.

I wanted to share a behind the scenes look at one of the most important (and thrilling) days of my year - the campaign photo shoot for my latest collection of bridal hair accessories and wedding jewellery.

It is also the culmination of months of work researching, designing and hand-making my pieces - as well as meticulously planning how I want the images of my accessories and jewellery to look, and pulling together a team of creatives who can bring my vision to life.

For this year's collection I wanted the photography to have a soft, ethereal look with a free-spirited modern vibe that would showcase a collection that mixes beautiful natural forms with a clean, pared back modern style that mirrors my designs.

Edie statement baroque pearl hammered hoop earrings It was a no-brainer to choose photographer Danni Maibaum to shoot the new collection - she's a dream to work with, produces amazing images, and is an experienced commercial photographer and wedding photographer, making her an ideal choice to shoot bridal accessories and jewellery.

Our model Lauren Amelia was sensational and such a joy to work with too.

I'm so excited to share all my new designs with you and am gradually uploading all the new images to my website - so keep popping back to see more new pieces over the next few days. I'm about two thirds of the way through adding the many new earring designs I've come up with - and there's also a new category to shop as I've added some matching necklaces for the first time!
