Description
The Aria necklace features a naturally-formed teardrop shaped freshwater pearl on a fine gold or silver chain for a simple, elegant bridal look.
I created this necklace to be worn with the Aria French Hook earrings, a sculptural feminine design which features the same teardrop shaped freshwater pearls.
While each ivory pearl will be slightly different because of their naturally occuring nature, each one has a similar teardrop shape and size and hangs from a delicate pendant I have created by hand from offcuts of gold or silver plated wire left over from crafting my bridal hair accessories. This sustainably-made droplet is then added to a delicate silver or gold chain for an elegant and minimal look.
For the gold teardrop freshwater pearl necklace I've used a gold-filled 18 inch fine chain. Gold-filled is a long-lasting and durable alternative to gold plating, with a much higher gold content, and is the perfect choice for an affordable yet lasting gift.
For the silver teardrop pearl necklace I've used an 18 inch fine diamond cut chain (which gives an extra sparkle) made entirely from recycled silver.
